I looked at a book called 'Action/Spectacle Cinema edited by Jose Arroyo', which I read and did not find it useful towards my research as specific films were highlighted in many articles throughout the book and I couldn't draw parrallel to my focus films. However, I did understand the power of an action spectacular in film and could consider whilst watching the films. I am beginning to have an interest on how my focus films can achieve this? I might research about the CGI and the mise en scene and see whether I can draw upon this as part of my research.
Although, this book was not relevant to my focus films, it did inspire me to think HOW my focus films grab the audience's attention to those who may not be a fan of the film and are critically observing the action.
